The IWWG's reputation for fostering collaboration among experts, researchers, and professionals from diverse backgrounds drew me in, offering a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue and share insights on waste management practices. He has been managing the course of Solid Waste Treatment and Resource reuse as Chair Professor since 2001. He has been implementing research and education in the area of waste management since the completion of his MS in 1987 at East China University of Science and Technology, and PhD in 1998 at Tongji University, Shanghai China.
He became a Co-Editor-in-Chief of Waste Management (Elsevier) in 2018 and Environmental Sanitation Engineering (Chinese Journal) in 2020.
