Why I joined IWWG

The IWWG's reputation for fostering collaboration among experts, researchers, and professionals from diverse backgrounds drew me in, offering a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue and share insights on waste management practices. The organization's multidisciplinary approach aligns with my belief in the importance of holistic strategies to tackle the complex issues surrounding waste.

He has been managing the course of Solid Waste Treatment and Resource reuse as Chair Professor since 2001. He has been implementing research and education in the area of waste management since the completion of his MS in 1987 at East China University of Science and Technology, and PhD in 1998 at Tongji University, Shanghai China.
He became a Co-Editor-in-Chief of Waste Management (Elsevier) in 2018 and Environmental Sanitation Engineering (Chinese Journal) in 2020.

Fundamental and applied aspects of waste management, with focus on biological, thermal treatment systems and sustainable landfilling of waste
