Why I joined IWWG

I have been involved in the Iwwg for over 15 years, as I believe it is the central academic network of the world's best universities with a focus on waste management and I greatly value this international exchange. The scientific independence from politics, business and lobbying associations, which is important to me, should be emphasized. The intensive promotion of young scientists and the provision of scientifically sound specialist literature are also of particular importance at the Iwwg.
